These briefings do not seem to be all that daily, but that's okay. I attended the Memorial Day Service at Tennessee Pass for the 10th Mountain Division and received a very warm welcome! I met with the top execs of each group of the 10th and they were very excited to hear that we were invited to the National Independence Day Parade in Washington DC in 2007. I received a warm welcome and many thank yous from many of the WWII Veterans in atttendence. I was even invited to a luncheon in Denver this summer! I hope to be able to make this occassion very special for the Veterans of the 10th Mountain Division by involving as many Coloradoans as possible. I am also going to attempt to get a proclamation passed that makes 2007 the "Year of the 10th Mountain Division" in conjunction with their last official reunion in August of next year. I can use all the help I can get! Please get in touch with us if you want to help. Thank you. That is all!
