Blog Entry 29 of 30 Musings and Misc nonsense
I just finished up my degree in Business/Marketing (big smile), February 2008. I know I'll need to replace all the great discussions from classes and hope to do that here.. and the occasional rant. Personally, I have a first new grandchild, one 19 yr old left at home... and enjoy online card games.. poker, spades, hearts, euchre.. Oh yeah, I live in Arvada.

Not much beats a grandchild...A long story

I've experienced a lot of things in life.. my family.. my wonderful children..(my son is still at home)...I'm glad he's still here actually. Does anyone else feel that way?

I've had the opportunity to travel, got to visit London... some other nice places... Alaska, Texas, California.. (London was the best for travel)... but.

There are so many relationships we have in life. Some are with the opposite sex... some are family, some are friends. Some .. are just sort of friends we make in the grocery store. All are rewarding.. or can be.

I don't think anything will compare to the time I've spent with my granddatughter..

I've been with various men over time. I appreciate men. Many of us at my age who are still single are either.. wanting to stay alone.. or looking desperately.

But my best times.. are with this granddaughter. I don't even care about anything else during those times I get to watch her. I am building a relationship.. where I look in her eyes.. and she looks in mine. Luckily, that is what they like at this age.

She recognizes me much more easily now. She knows I love her.

I am so dedicated to this child.. I gave her the quit smoking date I have.. (more later). I need to be here for her for many years.. She needs her Grandma..

I'll need some prayers to quit smoking.. and then some. If you've quit.. or are going to.. HELP! I need support...
