Blog Entry 313 of 316 Father Knows... Something. Let's figure out what.
This is my outlet to share with the world all the things I've learned - and continue to learn - about being the Father to 3 young children. But I should warn you that my experience is probably NOT yours: my wife and I are in the process of adopting a sibling set of 3 - all 6 years old and younger - while in our 40's. We've heard that, "it keeps you young," but so far, it has mostly kept us tired... But like any parent, our kids teach us something new every day and I hope to share at least something here with you at that same pace. The entries will be short - time constraints will probably keep it at or around a mere 200 words - but as they say, brevity is the soul of wit. Let's hope I can create some brevity here. So if you read something you like, please leave a comment. If you read something you don't, please just leave. (Just kidding - I'd love to hear from critics as well.)

Back at it - hopefully

OK - it's been a while since I posted anything here and I'm sorry about that. I could lean on the standard blogger's excuse of, "well, I've been really busy," which has the added benefit of being true, but instead, I offer:

THE TOP 10 REASONS I HAVEN'T BLOGGED LATELY! Here we go...

10) The latest season of " Designing Women" was released on DVD; need I say more?

9) 'Sloppy Joes' - in certain homes - can get REALLY sloppy.

8) Spent several days getting allergy treatments. Finally able to smell - and after changing a few of the boys' dirty diapers - I had to have the procedure reversed.

7) One word: Fudge!

6) Netflix completely messed up my queue and I spent hours watching " Knot's Landing" thinking it was " Star Trek." In the end it made them both more interesting and I found it difficult to tear myself away.

5) Spent some time reacquainting myself with the musical instrument of my childhood: the spoons.

4) Got a second job to save up some future bail money.

3) Trying to learn the complicated steps of that bathtime favorite, " The Winky Dance."

2) Had to spend days in my Led Zeppelin chamber in order to get the new " Veggie Tales" CD out of my head.

1) An old friend came into town and it re-activated the restraining order...

Chris Stone is a Father and blogger who hopes to get better at each...

Fudge is good, but I REALLY enjoy Keebler's soft chocolate chip cookies. :-) Thank you both.
