Blog Entry 29 of 39 Got a small plumbing job and don't want to pay big
Does the sink clog up on you every month? Wondering if you need a water filter and what type should you get? How about paying someone to winterize your sprinklers and swamp cooler when you could do it for next to nothing. When is it time to call in a professional and what do I look for in choosing one. I am a master plumber who's been in the business for 25 years. I've worked for many outfits (some reputable, some not) and I'm here to help as I dive into the world of journalism. C'mon in and lay on the couch...now...what's bothering you? Contact Dr. Plumb by clicking "send me a message" in the contributor information box

5150 Plumbing opens for business
Contributed by: Micheal Gieger   on 11/8/2006

I hate to say it but plumbing has been in my blood since I was a small boy. I can't tell you how many times my dad woke me up early on a Saturday morning for the sole purpose of cheap labor.

I hated it to no end. When you're a young man, you're supposed to go to bed when it's dark outside and wake up when the sun came up, not the other way around. I would complain all the way out the door.
What I didn't know back then was that I was being trained to take care of myself. I was being taught a trade before most kids my age knew how to throw a football.

25 years later, I'm glad I was given the opportunity (forced) to be in the plumbing trade. I developed principles, integrity and honesty to go along with my skills. A sound philosophy which, I hope, permeates to my writing.
I now use my experience to provide a standard of service that I feel is unparalleled in the industry.

I have started a new company called 5150 Plumbing. I intend to build a foundation of trust by earning your business, one job at a time. I see no security in bilking a customer for a one-time price hike, just to never see them again. I want to be your plumber for life.

If a job requires a licensed plumber or you're just not interested in doing it on your own, I'll be the guy you can count on! You're not going to get some kid with two years experience coming to your home, guessing what the solutions to your plumbing issues are. Dr. Plumb will show at your door at the time you agree on so you'll never be given a window of arrival from 9am to 5pm. I have 25 years of plumbing experience in my corner and will put it at your "disposal."

I am a licensed master plumber with full liability insurance to provide you with the protection you need. I will work on any plumbing-related pickles including those pesky sprinkler systems. You'll be given a cost for your project before any work is done so you'll know what you're looking at financially. I will also guarantee any parts and services provided for one full year.

You'll always have the option of contacting me on YourHub.com before ever considering hiring a plumber! I'm also offering 10% off your entire bill if you mention this site!

Call me when the need arises and I'll be the plumber you can count on to treat you with the respect you deserve. Serving the entire Denver metro area 24 hours a day!
