Blog Entry 22 of 30 Musings and Misc nonsense
I just finished up my degree in Business/Marketing (big smile), February 2008. I know I'll need to replace all the great discussions from classes and hope to do that here.. and the occasional rant. Personally, I have a first new grandchild, one 19 yr old left at home... and enjoy online card games.. poker, spades, hearts, euchre.. Oh yeah, I live in Arvada.

The middle of the road...

I'm at that point in life where... you're older than some.. and younger than many..

You like to think that at the age of 46.. you're smarter than some.... and you are.. but you're younger than so many.. wise people.

As I've interfaced with many .. in a virtual reality called Second Life.. so many are younger.. and then you feel, well old. But I've met many older than me there..

The thing is.. Wise Is in years. We should value our seniors more.. We should understand why.. other cultures put them on a pedestal... I'ts because.. they know more..

Why is it that some think that being young is better? Young is awesome.. if you know how to use it. I wish I did when I was much younger. Now that I have some years.. and education behind me, I think I have more to offer the world..

As I get older.. (and I've always respected and loved people older than me), I wonder why we don't revel in the knowledge and experience of people older than us... I do.. but that's me.

I just don't like this age bracket right now.. it's like being 13... lol. It's kind of an awkward age.. so many above and below you.. maybe I should go out and get a Red Sportscar.. ;)

Our seniors.. or anyone older than you.. knows.. something..
