I like living in Arvada.I am a member of Trinity Baptist Church and have many good friends there.I lived in the same house in Denver until I married, so as you can see, I am a native.My husband and I adopted 2 Korean sons who are now adults, 1 is a State Patrol Sgt., the other is an upholsterer. My husband died Sept.1st,2005. My family is a real blessing to me.I will probably write most about them, especially my great grandchildren (3)

I have watched Courtney Adams grow up. We have lived across the street from her and her family for several years. Courtney and her sister and mom were so helpful to me when I first moved in to care for my disabled niece. Whenever I needed Courtney, she would come and stay with Patty or look in on her to make sure she was okay.
Courtney is graduating from Arvada West High School on May 22 and will be attending CSU in Fort Collins this fall.
I am very proud of her and wish the best for her. She is a beautiful girl and has the whole world before her.

This is why I am a fan of multi-generational neighborhoods (as opposed to retirement communities); we all benefit from knowing each other. Congrats, Courtney, and thanks for being a good neighbor to Gladys.
