Is anyone else concerned about rampant disregard for our tax dollars.

I read last week that Mass Transit for Arvada ought to be diesel fueled equipment!! The reason given was that it was cheaper to run , and would help keep RTD closer to budget figures. Golly gee whiz, all you folks in the private sector bite the bullet and buy expensive equipment to save the earth from over warming.
Let me add another observation.
The only numbers that will come in under future projections, will be the actual riders of this pipe dream.
I wonder if this 4 Billion dolllar fiasco ( now $6 BILLION) would have passed if the wording of the issue had read: The riders of this marvelous service are willing to pay the real cost of service. Something like $11.00 per train ride and $ 3.50 for the buses.
