Blog Entry 5 of 8 Just wondering
Thoughts and ideas on local, national and world events. Just wondering if we understand where we are going, what we are doing and where have we been.

Election musings

Just a few thoughts and Questions

----Am I the only one uncomfortable with Barrack Obama's past and his connections with questionable people-People who seem to support Islamic and Socialist/anti-Democratic philosophies?

----Do any of these guys really know anything about the economy and what has gotten us into this position? I mean do people really think President Bush caused all these problems and do they think the new president could correct any of this stuff?

----Is it really that easy to get elected by just telling people youn will give them something? What happened to self-sufficiency and independance-Not expecting the government to do everything for you and not blaming the government for everything that goes wrong?

----Will Barrack Obama really do what is best for the country or is he going to be concerned with everyone else in the world?

I hope people do not blame me for friends and associates that I have had in the past. Even Jesus associated with sinners. I think Obama is smart enough to get us out of this mess. Can't make it any worse than Pres. Bush has done.

Bush's only problem was that he wasn't aggressive enough to act. He tried to persuade the democrats but, they wouldn't listen. So there you have it, in a nutshell!
