Description: The purpose of the Arvada Fine Arts Guild is to encourage the originality of the individual and endeavor to obtain public recognition for the amateur as well as the professional artist. The Guild exhibits regularly at the Art Cafe, the Eggshell Restaurant, and at New West Physicians Office in Arvada as well as other venues in Broomfield, Golden and Wheatridge.

This year is our 50th Anniversary and we have a wonderful juried exhibit at the Arvada Center from May 21st - Jun 7th. The Public Reception is Tuesday, May 21st from 7-9 p.m. We will have two additional exhibits in November that all of our members are encouraged to participate in.We also have three workshops a year with award-winning artists giving instruction.

Meetings of the Arvada Fine Arts Guild are held on the third Tuesday of the month at the Arvada Center.After a brief business meeting, an accomplished artist demos their style of painting or critiques ourmembers' artwork. There are no meetings in July and December. Allfine artists (painted collage, drawing, pastel, oil, and watermedia), regardless of their ability,are welcome to attend a meeting and to join our organization.

We hope to see you at our next meeting at the Arvada Center on June 16th from 2-4P. The demo will be given by Mark Silvers, an exceptional watercolorist.
