RE: RECRUITING 11 TH & 12 TH GRADE BAND MEMBERS FOR 2009!

The 10 th Mtn All State Marching Band will conduct open recruiting for all incoming 11 th and 12 th grade high school students statewide effective immediately. We need the best of the best available in the state to be part of this very special and elite Band.

This is a non-profit organization solely dependent on membership fees, corporate and public donations, as well as fundraisers from Band appearances across the state.

Our mission is to bring recognition to the men and women of the US Army's 10 th Mountain Division off WWII after whom the Band is respectfully named.

We are a civilian patriotic ceremonial military band and the only one of this kind in the country! Our objective is to honor those who have gone before us and those who have paid so costly a sacrifice upon the alter of freedom!

The Band will uphold military traditions and protocol for this era at all times. Uniforms will consist of replica WWII class "A'" Army uniforms worn by the men
and women of the 10 th Mountain Division. Instruments must be furnished by the students.
We have already been invited to represent Colorado in the 2009 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C.!
