for a special 7 course Asian dinner at Chopstix Asian Grill at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. The newly decorated restaurant is located at 9604 Ralston Road in Arvada. The owner, Maurice Luong, has prepared a unique menu - not your normal Chinese meal. The dinner with a silent auction and door prizes is a fund raiser to benefit future cultural and educational exchanges. There may be a few surprises too.

Why a Chinese dinner? Arvada Sister Cities is working with Jinzhou, China as a future sister city. JInzhou, with a metropolitan population of nearly 3.9 million, is a modern port city in the Liaoning Province northeast of Beijing. In 2007 Arvada had the pleasure of hosting an official delegation from Jinzhou
