Women'sVision Hosts 11 th Annual Women's Success Forum

Dynamic Event Brings Together More Than 1,300 Corporate Leaders

DENVER - September 25, 2008 - Women'sVision, a nonprofit organization that helps women leverage their unique talents and realize their full leadership potential in the corporate workplace, announced its 11th annual Women's Success Forum event on October 22, 2008 at the Colorado Convention Center.

The Women's Success Forum is the organization's premier event. Organizers are expecting more than 1,300 attendees this year. The full-day conference includes informative speeches from two keynote speakers, breakout sessions covering a wide array of relevant topics, and an awards ceremony recognizing individuals who act as role models and actively support the advancement and development of corporate women.

"The Success Forum is a day of motivation and a chance for attendees to make valuable connections that will last throughout their careers," said Christie Doherty, president of Women'sVision. "And this year, we are particularly honored to have Dee Dee Myers, former White House press secretary and Dessa Bokides, former chief financial officer of ProLogis, as part of our high-caliber lineup of speakers and discussion group leaders."

Keynote speaker Dee Dee Myers was the first woman and youngest person to serve as press secretary in the White House for two years of the Clinton administration. She believes more women leaders would make the world a better place - not because women are the same as men, but because they are different. She will discuss the crucial strengths that female leaders bring to the table. Dessa Bokides, no stranger to the corporate world as former chief financial officer of ProLogis and chief executive officer of Yellow Pine, LLC, plans to discuss the dangerous allure of "extreme" jobs at which employees work 60 hours or more a week.

"I am looking forward to speaking at the Success Forum because Women'sVision enables women and corporations to foster collaborative, inclusive work environments where all employees thrive," said Dessa Bokides. "I firmly believe corporations that promote the strengths women bring to leadership roles are more successful and better at retaining talent."
