Description: PATRIOTIC ANCESTRY ON YOUR FAMILY TREE?
The Doctor Susan Anderson Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution invites you to a Prospective Member Workshop on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
Do you have a relative who was in DAR? Do you have a New Mexico ancestor who was an alcalde mayore or stationed at the Santa Fe Presidio during the American Revolution? Do you have an ancestor who provided military, civil, or patriotic service for the American Colonies between 1775 and 1783? This is a unique chance to establish your lineage and heritage as a descendant of a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership is open to women eighteen (18) years of age and older.
The DAR is a non-profit, non-political, worldwide women's service organization formed in 1890. It is devoted to promoting Education, Historic Preservation
and Patriotism.
The event is open to the public. Join us to learn more about the work of today's DAR and visit www.dar.org or www.ColoradoDAR.org.
