How you have contributed to the community: State Representative 6 years, House Minority Leader 3 years, Parker Town Council 4 years, Past-President Parker Chamber of Commerce, O'Brien Award (Parker Citizen of the year 1998), Economic Development Cornerstone Award (2002), name Legislator of the Year by several organizations (including, American Lung Association, American Heart Association, and Homebuilders Association) each year I served in the legislature, youth baseball coach, youth soccer coach and participated in numerous community organizations in Douglas County.
What are the biggest issues facing your constituency now: Our economy. Colorado has a big role to play in achieving energy independence for our nation. With that comes opportunities for jobs and challenges to protect our environment.
