Education: Bachelor's from the University of Arizona and Masters in Library Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh
What I do: Research Librarian for a law firm downtown
My favorite local place to hang out: My neighborhood. We have wonderful neighbors and friends here that we love to spend time with.

People who inspire me (and how): My parents. They each have worked incredibly hard to support us and put myself and my siblings through college. After we finished they each went back and got degrees themselves. I have the deepest respect and admiration for my parents, their work ethic, honesty, and the sacrifice they made for their children is amazing.
How I have contributed to the community: This is my first run at any public office. I am hoping to be able to make a positive difference for my community.
The biggest issues facing us now: The economy is the biggest issue facing Colorado. In light of what is going on with Wall Street and Main Street I believe that it is critical that we do everything we can to protect Colorado's economic growth. We need to keep taxes low on individuals and business and practice fiscal responsibility within government in order to keep our local economy healthy and strong.
Why I am running: I have chosen to run for public office because I saw an opportunity to represent the people of my community and have a positive impact on the decisions our State government makes.
