Eleventh Annual Falliday Craft and Bake Sale


The eleventh annual Falliday Craft and Bake Sale will take place Nov. 6th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 7th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 11500 W. 20th Ave. in Lakewood. This popular annual event will showcase the work of over 40 artists and craftsmen who will offer a variety of beautiful handcrafted Christmas decorations, gifts for adults and children and home décor items including jewelry, pottery, wheat weaving, dried flower arrangements, hand-painted wood, apparel, kitchen items and much more. New this year, the Alpaca Fiber Artists of the Rockies will be selling jewelry, scarves, shawls, vests and fiber made from local alpaca wool. Shoppers will also be able to purchase beautiful gift items in booths supporting the non profit organizations, Women's Bean Project, African Team Ministries, Kenyon Children's Foundation, Earthlinks and Pillow Hugs.

A huge bake sale featuring pies baked while you shop is a highlight of the event, as are the homemade soups, sandwiches and pie slices offered during the lunch hour. A large selection of gently used books, CDs, tapes and DVDs will be found on the upper level. A portion of all craft sales, as well as all proceeds from the sale of baked goods and food, benefit Presbyterian Women mission projects such as Seniors Resource Center, Gemini House, Jeffco Action Center and Helping Hearts and hands,
