I recently moved to Arvada and I am having a tough time locating 2 items. I am interested in knowing if other readers have trouble shopping for certain items. This would be a nice way to inform Arvada businesses of what we need and other shoppers to help find items not easily available.
1.
Elmer's glue
. I want to make a Valentine by hand. I think I might try the hardware store where at least I can find some wood glue. I have tried the grocery store and even office supply stores, but all they have are glue sticks, which will not work. Why is it so hard to find Elmer's glue? Has someone decided it is not good for children and thus no one carries it anymore?
2.
Big K Diet Cherry Cola
. We finally got the King Sooper's in Lakewood to carry more. Now we have moved to Arvada and are encountering the same trouble. Our local Arvada King Sooper's carries only about 4-5 2-liter bottles at any time --at most. Of course, the shelf is always empty after work and never restocked so that even one person can clean out the item. I do not care if Coke and Pepsi pay for shelf space, we want Big K Diet Cherry Cola and there is never enough. Do we have to go to the grocery store every day just to stock up? We have tried to convince the manager to make more shelf space, but so far we have been unsuccessful.

That's interesting, Merrimon. I just always assumed you could find Elmer's glue in pretty much any grocery store or office supply store.
