A land-lock Beach?
Contributed by: Pamela Embrey on 3/10/2006

Hi Dot!
Seeing as your a dog, I think that you would know the right answer. I have a bone that needs to be dug and found! Recently, down at Lake Arbor I've noticed orange nets being placed into the field acorss the street and loud construction trucks in the early morning forklifting dirt. What is going on down at Lake Arbor? What I thought was that they were just cleaning out the pond for possible algea, but now it looks look Lake Arbor is getting it's own beach! Some of the small ponds have been dried out and in it's place mud, rocks and a very beach-like atmosphere for the duck, and geese that populate Lake Arbor. I hope they don't get rid of the lake! I know dogs like you, like their morning-walk! So can you tell me what's happening?

Pamela:

Dot is hot on the trail and will sniff out the answer as soon as possible! And, yes, Dot digs walks.
