Students with a passion for fashion can expect to receive top notch advice and information April 19 when Fashion Group Intl. of Denver hosts its biannual Career Day for high school and college students. Held this year at Denver Merchandise Mart, Career Day affords students real world exposure to Colorado's broad-based industry of fashion, beauty and merchandising.
"This is the best professional industry event possible for students," says event chair Carol Engel-Enright. "To hear from top notch experts in their fields and to network with professionals from their widely diverse specialties is a priceless opportunity for eager young people looking to build their careers."
Highlights of the event, "Spring Forward into a future in fashion," include day-long concurrent workshops, exhibits, luncheon with keynote speaker and New York City fashion designer Sylvia Heisel, and afternoon dessert with student design fashion show. Space is still available, $35 pre-registration or $45 at the door. Students and others interested in attending may contact Carol Enright,
