Two great guys and a flower shop
Contributed by: Michele Kirk on 10/21/2006

Mother's Day and Mom's birthday I went to Fresh Petals and met two of the greatest guys you would ever want to meet. Jim Spano and Roger Toler. They are the most kindest and helpful people I've met. I have used Lehrers in the past and they cannot
even come close to being as helpful and attentive and concermed about getting ordered what you want, calling out of town for a great connection and following through to make sure your mom in Indiana gets fresh beautiful arrangements that last .

Visit them soon at 6620 W. 51st Ave. in Arvada or call them at 303-425-4973. I have written to two largeTV stations and neither one has given them a visit, which is too bad because they can also give you plenty of history on Arvada, as well as history on flowers. Their grandfather and 12 siblings came to Colorado from Italy. One of
the girls had a handful of carnation seeds in her pocket, came over to Colorado and put them in the ground, and they were the first in Colorado to grow carnations. Mom just got her birthday flowers this last Wednesday and she was so pleased and suprised.

Thank You again TONS, Jim and Roger. We'll see ya soon.

Shelly

Sounds like a great store, Michele. Thanks for letting us know about it and I hope you'll keep writing about more of your favorite local places.
