Morning Star Jewelers and Mountain Resource Center

Mountain Resource Center, a registered 501(c) (3), in Conifer, Colorado and Morning Star Jewelers are partnering together in a unique project with the sale of the "Mountain Ring." A portion of the proceeds from the sale of rings will go directly to support basic and essential education, health and human services to mountain area residents living in western Jefferson County and northern Park Counties.

Morning Star Jeweler's owner, John Varner, created these Colorado inspired custom-made rings available in white, yellow and/or a combination of both gold types for men and women. The artist chose this design because, like nature they have an endless beauty. The Collegiate Peak Mountain Range was chosen because it has 8 of Colorado's renowned 14er's, with great peaks and valleys And the mountain ring, created to remind us of the eternal beauty of the mountains that surround us." Varner said. The rings start at $495 for the standard models and are custom made to its owner for any width, size or color. Biography for John Varner, goldsmith and owner of Morningstar Jewelers:
Local artist, John Varner of Morning Star Jewelers has been designing and creating fine pieces of jewelry for over 27 years. John has been recognized as an accomplished artist in his trade by many local businesses was written up in newspapers because of his contemporary twist on an ancient art and his store was vote #1 jewelry store in Evergreen.

Beneficiary is Mountain Resource Center:
Mountain Resource Center, a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, was established in 1992 and is centrally located in Conifer. The organization provides basic and essential health human services as a community-based, single point of entry non-profit organization. With a limited staff and a dedicated group of over 350 volunteers, the organization remains committed to serving a growing population of over 63,000 people living in the mountainous Front Range communities west of Denver.
