Arvada Skatepark
Silent Auction and Spaghetti Dinner
Come and support the new Arvada Skatepark on Tuesday, March 4, at Ralston Valley High School at 80th and Alkire from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door and include spaghetti, bread and a beverage. Over 100 donated items will be available at the concurrent silent auction.
The new Arvada Skatepark, to be built on city-owned land at the Apex Center, is currently in the fundraising phase. A support group of citizensis organized and meeting regularly. They are working collectively with the Arvada Parks Department, the Arvada Park Advisory Committee and the Apex Park and Recreation District. A website has been created to keep interested parties updated on their progress at

If you would like to donate to the new Arvada Skatepark you can do so through the
Arvada Parks Donation Program,which is set up through the Jeffco Open Space Foundation (JOSF). Send your check or money order payable to "Jeffco Open Space Foundation," and designate ARVADA SKATEPARK as the area you are funding on the check. Then mail or deliver the check to Arvada Parks Dept., Arvada City Hall, 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80001.
