Jeffco Action Center's
Beautiful Junk Sale Supports Year-round Services
Jeffco Action Center will host its bi-annual Beautiful Junk Sale at Jefferson County Fairgrounds on March 28 and 29. This important fundraiser supports the emergency services the Action Center provides to Jefferson County residents, including the food bank that gives out two tons of food a day to our hungry neighbors.
Come shop the 10,500-square-foot arena filled with rows and rows of tables displaying wonderful odds and ends. Vintage clothes and collectibles will be available in a designated shopping area for shoppers' delight. Browse through the "beautiful junk" and you will be sure to go home with new found treasures.
"This is a great opportunity to get anything and everything you can imagine," said
Joe Haines, director of development. "At the same time, you are helping an organization that impacts 40,000 Jefferson County residents every year."
General shopping hours are Friday, March 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday the 20th 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 per person, children 15 and under get in free. There will be the Special Early Bird Shopping on Friday morning 7 to 8:30 for the serious first-come shoppers at an admission fee of $20.
