The smash-hit movie, Disney's
High School Musical, comes to life on stage this summer at the Arvada Center. This widely popular musical has all the characters you have come to know and love-Troy, Gabriella, Chad, Sharpay, Ryan, Kelsi and the rest of the student body, including the jocks, brainiacs, thespians, skater dudes and teachers. This five week camp will encourage, inspire and refine students at all levels as they come together to learn and, most importantly, have a great time. The camp includes working with a team of professionals-directors and choreographers in staging the production and technical theater staff on costuming; set design and construction; and lighting and sound design. Students will learn about the entire production process in addition to the roles that they perform.
As always, the goal of Arvada Center Drama Camps is to educate, promote growth and provide an atmosphere where students can explore their own creativity, regardless of theatrical experience.
