Bring The Kids to Buffalo Bill Days in Golden
Contributed by: Ed Dorsey on 7/17/2008

There is plenty to do for the entire family at Buffalo Bill Days in Golden Friday, July 25th through Sunday, July 27th. The Pancake Breakfast, Best of the West Parade and Wild West Show are on Saturday, and the kids can look forward to the concession rides and games of skills and chance provided by Kimpel Amusements in Parfet Park throughout the weekend. .

There will be a Ferris wheel, a tiny-tot merry-go-round and those popular inflatable rides. For the more adventurous kids, bungee jumping is back. Tickets are reasonable and some are free.

'Lil Spike', the miniature train will have free rides thanks to Coors Credit Union. The train will use the Visitors Center as its depot for rides along beautiful Clear Creek where everyone can watch the tubers and kayakers. It will operate on Saturday from Noon-6PM and on Sunday from 11AM-5PM.

On Sunday, there will a community service at 10AM in the park and after you can walk down 10th St to the Lions Ball Field and cheer on the young riders at the almost sold-out 'Muttin Bustin'.

So bring the kids to Buffalo Bill Days, it's truly a family affair.
