Four Arvada artists and one Wheat Ridge artist, as well as a number of Denver area artists, are members of the Majestic Gallery at 1636 Miner St. in Idaho Springs. This gallery is a cooperative gallery, with each member working one day per month. The gallery is managed by
Caroline Jensen
who started the gallery 20 years ago. In honor of these 20 years, the gallery will host an open house from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on October 25th and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on October 26th.
Local artists participating in this celebration include
Carol Cook
,
Pua Warnke
,
Barbara
and
Ron Rathbun
, and
Cal Johnson
. Carol is a watercolorist specializing in landscapes, Pua does batiks and pottery, Barbara does mainly watercolors of wild animals, Ron is a landscape and wildlife photographer, and Cal specializes in pastel landscapes. The public is invited to this open house to view the artistic endeavors of your neighbors, as well as the works of other Denver area artists.
