Neighbor's account of Arvada garage fire

Fire at 83rd Avenue and Moore Street in Arvada on July 20

I woke up this morning to the sounds of many sirens, then a helicopter that seemed to be hovering above my neighborhood. My wife looked out our bedroom window and exclaimed that the neighbor's house was on fire at the end of our street.

Flames were streaming through the roof of the home. I turned the local news on our bedroom television in time to see aerial videos being taken of the home as I watched it live through the window at the same time. I walked over to the scene at about 6:10 a.m. and captured this photo with my digital camera.

Fortunately, my two neighbors, along with their pet dog, evacuated the home safely and were okay. As of 11 a.m. July 20, I have not yet heard the determined cause of the fire.
