Arvada baby is first grandchild in the family

Tyr Rowan McNeff Skokan, son of Susan and Jake Skokan, of Arvada, was born March 22 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver. He weighed six pounds, 10 ounces, and arrived with a lusty cry. He is the maternal grandson of Jeannie McNeff, of Northglenn; the paternal grandson of Cathy and Jack Skokan, of Golden; and the maternal grandson of Russ McNeff, of Thornton. His three uncles and two aunts also live in the area.

Being the first grandchild born in the family, he is receiving lots of attention. His grandmother Jeannie said, "Being a grandparent of such a delightful baby has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. To see Rowan smile when I come into view fills my heart with joy and love."
