Edna McCormack passed away on Friday, Oct. 26. She was at her daughter
Beth's home in Pueblo and died in her sleep. As most of you know, she was 98, and was one of the founders of the women's golf clubs at Indian Tree in 1970, when the golf course was first opened.
She served on the North Jeffco board for 25 years and was president of the North Jeffco Board from '83 to '84. She was active in the Junior Golf Program in the '70s and '80s. She served as the Women's Golf Executive Board president in 1971, handbook editor in '91 and '92, and was the 18-hole chair in '84. She organized the Sr. Par 3 Program, the Indian Tree Bowling League and the Tuesday Bridge Club. She was a docent at the Arvada Center, and a room in the senior center is named for her. She was also very active in the Arvada Historical Society, after having taught physical education in DPS Elementary schools for 42 years.
Her funeral will be at Arvada United Methodist Church on 68th and Carr Street on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Arvada Cemetery will follow the services and everyone is invited to the reception at the Methodist Church following a short graveside service.

2. North Jeffco Recreation programs of your choice (seniors, juniors, etc.)
