50 Years of DAR

Alice Busch of Arvada celebrated 50 years as a DAR member in October at the Hyland Hills Restaurant.

Alice began her membership in the Rocky Ford Chapter in 1955. Through the years she was the chapter regent, vice regent, chaplain, secretary and treasurer. The Colorado State DAR also enjoyed her service as chaplain, registrar and historian from 1965 to 1972. In a move to Arvada in 2002, Alice transferred her membership to the Front Range Chapter of Broomfield. Alice is well known for her service and patriotism.
