New West Physicians add three new providers

New West Physicians, a primary care physicians' group serving the Front Range, has added Dr. Alexander Maybach to the Arvada Family Practice, Dr. Bonnie J. Brooks to Internal Medicine of Wheat Ridge and physician assistant Heidi Davis to the Golden Central Family Practice.

Arvada Family Practice
Dr. Alexander Maybach
Dr. Maybach earned his medical degree at Midwestern University's Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz. He completed his residency at St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency Program in Denver and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Maybach worked as a physical therapist, including time with the U.S. Ski Team in Park City, Utah. Dr. Maybach volunteered in clinics and at a hospital in Oaxaca, Mexico, during his residency as part of a Medical Spanish Language Immersion program. He also speaks fluent German. While attending medical school in Phoenix, he volunteered his medical services to perform athletic screenings for high school athletes and provide free care at homeless shelters and in underserved communities.

Internal Medicine of Wheat Ridge
Dr. Bonnie J. Brooks
Dr. Brooks practiced medicine in Oregon and Arizona before moving to Denver. A native of Virginia, Dr. Brooks earned a master's degree in chemistry from Old Dominion University before graduating from Eastern Virginia Medical School, both in Norfolk, Va. Dr. Brooks is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Colorado Medical Society.

Golden Central Family Practice
Heidi Davis, P.A.
Davis has practiced family and pediatric medicine for more than 10 years, including urgent care in both urban and rural communities. She completed the University of Colorado School of Medicine's Child Heath Associate Program and also has certifications in basic trauma life support, advanced cardiac life support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Davis is an active member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants.
