NEIGHBORS COMPLAIN ABOUT LOUD PORN

At 11:53 a.m. June 29, officers were dispatched to the 9100 block of Oberon Road. The reporting party told officers that she received numerous complaints that a 49-year-old man who lived in one of the apartments watches pornography with his TV at a high volume. Other tenants complained they could see the pornography through his front window when they walked by and that the man always has his blinds open when he is watching pornography. She said the man watches porn frequently and usually between 10 and 11 p.m. The woman said that the previous night, her juvenile daughter saw him masturbate on his bed in front of an open window visible to the apartment parking lot. When an officer questioned the man, he said, "People should mind their own business," and denied the incident. The man was issued a summons on suspicion of indecent exposure.

BICYCLIST KNOCKED OVER IN HIT AND RUN
At approximately 3:55 p.m. June 28, officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident at 80th Avenue and Hwy. 121. Dispatch indicated that the suspect's vehicle had hit a bicycle and was last seen northbound on Hwy. 121. An officer located the 1995 blue Toyota Landcruiser making a left turn from eastbound Pomona Drive to northbound Hwy. 121. Upon contact with the 47-year old female driver, she said she had hit the back tire of the bicyclist leaving the Boston Market parking lot at 80th Avenue and the bicyclist had fallen. She said she told the bicyclist sorry and then drove off without getting out of her vehicle. She then said she headed northbound on Hwy. 121 and then westbound on Pomona Drive. She said at this point she was trying to turn around and go back to the accident, but couldn't because the streets were a dead end. The officer saw her going the opposite direction on his way to the scene of the accident. She said she didn't stop originally because she was already partially out in to the intersection. The woman then said she didn't stop because she was scared. She was issued a summons for failure to remain after an accident involving injury and failure to notify police of an accident. The bicyclist had some road rash on his left leg and his left arm area. He did not need medical attention.

At 7:19 a.m. June 29, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident near W. 68th Avenue and Highway 121. The man fled on foot when his vehicle collided with another vehicle. The suspect was described as a white bald male in a gray T-shirt and jeans. Upon arrival, police learned there were two males who fled on foot. The suspect driver was located near the intersection of West 74th Avenue and Highway 121. The driver reportedly failed roadside maneuvers and was taken into custody. The driver was issued a notice of revocation and two summons for driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, leaving the scene after damaging another vehicle and driving with a suspended license. Police seized his driver's license and he was released to a sober party.
