Police Blotter-- Arvada Police
Mike Tyson at it again
A man bit another man's ear during a June 5 fight on the 7900 block of Field Court. At 9:38 p.m. officers responded to a three-person fight in the front yard of the residency. When officers arrived they found two of the three men scuffed up and blood on the left ear of one of the men. During interviews, officers learned that the ex-husband of the woman living at the residence had called his ex-wife names on the phone. The ex-husband said he was going to come to the house and pick up his daughter. At that point, the woman's husband called her father for help. When the ex-husband arrived, he proceeded to throw punches at the woman's husband and father and bite the woman's husband's ear. The three men began wresting in the front yard and in the neighbor's yard and the woman was accidentally hit by her ex-husband. Both the ex-husband and the current husband had been drinking. All parties were examined by paramedics. Officers told the ex-husband he could not take his underage daughter with him because he was intoxicated and told the two parties to stay away from each other since the daughter was old enough to drive between her two parent's houses. No further police action was taken because the woman told police her ex-husband had never done anything like this before.
