MAN AWAKENED BY COPS
On Sept. 21 at 6:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 5900 block of Garrison Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the reporting party, a 47-year-old woman, informed police that she had asked her boyfriend to leave but would not. Officers woke the 45-year-old boyfriend in the couple's bedroom. The man began to shout at officers, "I didn't even do anything!" Admitting to have had a "couple of drinks earlier" while watching a football game, the man attempted to put on pair of jeans but fell against the closet door. Police informed the man he was going to have to sleep somewhere else for the evening. No charges were filed. Before releasing the boyfriend to an undisclosed location, the male claimed to have been in the military and could "take on the whole Arvada Police Department."
$1,000 BIKE STOLEN
On Sept. 20 at 11:37 a.m., officers responded to a telephone call regarding a stolen bicycle. The 48-year-old reporting party stated that between 2 and 2:10 p.m., his $1,000 Mongoose with a black and purple frame was stolen out of his front yard where his bike was sitting behind a tree. The bike was not locked. No suspect information could be provided.
