What I do: Provide investment and financial consultant services to individual investors
My favorite place in town to hang out: Any golf course
What I like most about living here: The small-town feel and the people who live here.
My interests and hobbies: Golf, walking and biking with my wife
My favorite thing to cook: Pasta
People who inspire me (and how): John Kennedy - eloquence and ability to inspire, Duane Youse - volunteerism and dedication to his community
How I have contributed to the community: Led the efforts to create a permanent campus for Red Rocks Community College in Arvada and restore the financial health of the Arvada Fire Protection District.
The biggest issues facing Arvada now: Within a few years revenues will be insufficient to maintain services and the city's infrastructure.
Why I am running: This has been my home town for nearly 50 years. It will be facing some tough decisions in the next few years. I am the only candidate with the proven leadership experience and education to meet the challenge of balancing economic development with quality of life.
