ARVADA, Colo. -- Most social balls are stuffy and formal. Now, Denver’s singles have a “softer,” whimsical ball without all the “fluff” – the First Annual Cotton Ball.
It’s a down-to-earth ball, where singles can have fun and show their “100 percent natural and pure” personalities. The party is planned by Cottonwood Connection, the largest social club for singles in Colorado.
The Cotton Ball will take place at 7 p.m, June 18, at Castaways Restaurant (formerly Chili Pepper), located at 2150 Bryant St., in Denver. Open to the public, the cost is $30 for Cottonwood Connection members and $40 for non-members, including the party, dancing and full-course dinner.
Reservations can be made by calling Cottonwood Connection at 303/424-2300, or by e-mailing to info@cottonwoodconnection.com.
Naturally, cotton attire is recommended. Prizes will go to the guest who is most creative with the theme, and who is wearing the most cotton balls.
Cottonwood Connection is located in Olde Town Arvada at 7508 Grandview Avenue. The phone number is 303/424-2300, and the Web site is www.cottonwoodconnection.com.
