Lake Arbor, Secrest pools open May 31

Saturday, May 31 is opening day for Secrest Outdoor Pool, 6820 W. 66th Avenue. Hours are noon to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 12:30 to 6 pm on weekdays. The pool will be open through Saturday, September 5. On Sunday, September 6, the popular Dog Swim Day returns to Secrest, from 11 am to 2 pm.

Lake Arbor Pool, 7451 W. 83rd Way, also opens for the summer on Saturday, May 31. Hours are noon to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 12:30 to 6 pm on weekdays. The pool will be open through Sunday, August 17.

Fees are: Under 1 year old - free (must be accompanied into the pool by a paying adult); age 1 to 3 - $1 must be accompanied into the pool by a paying adult); age 4 to 18 - $3 resident, $3.75 non-resident; age 19 to 61 - $3.50 resident, $4.75 non-resident; age 62+ - $2.50 resident, $3 non-resident. The spectator fee for all ages is $1. Please bring your district resident ID card to be eligible for the resident discount. Children under age 8 must be appropriately supervised by an adult.

Again this year, 20-punch cards are for sale with 15 punches for Lake Arbor, Secrest & Meyers and 5 for the Apex Center. Annual passes and 10 and 20-punch cards for all pools but the Apex Center are also available.
