Katrina Cats Need Home
Contributed by: Shari Shiffer-Krieger on 1/22/2008

Hi, my name is Emmett. My brother, Tucker and I are living at Cat Care Society awaiting our new homes. We came to Cat Care Society because we were abandoned during the Katrina Hurricane. We are both very sweet boys, and want to be in a home together. I am a long haired brown tabby. I look like a Maine Coon, though I am not a purebred. I am 8 years old. I do not like other dogs and cats besides my brother, so I can't be adopted into a family with other pets. I do get very nervous when there is a rain storm - but who can blame me? My brother Tucker, is a silver patched tabby. Because Tucker is 11 years old, he is on the Perpet-U-Care program, which pays $250 annually for all his medical needs. Tucker has mouth cancer, but don't worry - he still eats like a little pig! He does have to take medicine every day to help with the cancer, but he loves the taste of it! Won't you please adopt us? It is fun hanging out at Cat Care Society, but we really want to get into our forever home. For more information, you can visit us at Cat Care Society at 5787 W. 6 th Avenue, or call at (303) 239-9680 or you can even check us out at www.catcaresociety.org.
