If you're looking for a way to make a difference while also feeling - literally - the warm fuzzy reward of your work, here's an opportunity for you:

Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats is looking for volunteers to help during kitten season. Some examples of ways YOU can make a difference:

• Fostering
• Fundraising
• Staffing information booths at events
• Transportation to/from vet appointments
• Office/clerical work
• Laundry and cleaning of facility
• "Shopper" and run errands
• Help facilitate adoptions

Foster caregivers provide temporary housing to animals that are not ready for adoption. Most of these are kittens and not old enough to be adopted. The foster caregiver is required to provide care that includes, but is not limited to, food, water, indoor shelter, grooming, medication when necessary, and lots of TLC! If you are interested in helping this worthy cause, our volunteer applications are available on the website www.almosthomeadoptions.com. Fosters applications are available at the adoption center located at 7713 W. 92nd Ave, Westminster, CO 80021.

Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats is a non-profit, cage-free, volunteer, donation-based, no-kill organization that dedicates time to saving endless amounts of homeless cats and kittens. All of these animals have been tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, and most importantly, spayed/neutered to help control this nation's pet population and prevent the senseless euthanization of animals due to lack of shelter space.

Through your service, you can enjoy the feeling of holding and loving countless cats and kittens, as well as knowing that your efforts have made a huge difference.
