Musical Honors Recital

Music Student Winners

Congratulations to the following flute and piano students who were chosen from over 50 entries to perform on an honors recital on Sunday Nov 12, 2007. MTASN held the 23 rd annual Fall Festival music auditions on Saturday, Nov 11, 2007. Each student prepared one piece of music from the Baroque Era and one piece in contrasting style. Trophies were awarded to the following performers at the Sunday concert.

Jordan Albrecht, Zeke Anthony, Nathan Finken, Rachel Jones, Marissa LoNigro, Andrew Maroncelli, Andrea Moozakis, David Morgan. Helen Nowak, Hilda Posey, Vianes Rodriquez, Nyle Sykes, Anthony Xue, Hugh Zhang,

Honorable Mention was awarded to Jake Albrecht, Isaac Garcia, Emily Gaydeski, Serena Klein, and David Kolberg.

Judges for the event were Bonnie Litten, NCTM; Robin McNeal; Kearin Ragsdale, NCTM; and Lois Sollengerger, NCTM.

Each of the over fifty entrants received a certificate for their participation and comments from the judges on their performance. Students participating in this event live in many communities in the Denver area. MTASN (Music Teachers Association Suburban Northwest) welcomes any music teacher to join the association.
