Sweet rides and sweat mixes for winning combo

The fourth annual Father's Day Car Show and Run was June 15 at the Apex Center, 13150 W. 72nd Ave., Arvada. More than 135 runners and walkers hit the pavement for a 5K run or 1 mile family fun run/walk starting at 8 a.m. Afterward they checked out classic cars and eat a pancake breakfast benefiting the Arvada-Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth, a local program that helps youth working to overcome adversity in their lives.
