If your dad is like me, you would have made him happy Sunday, June 18th, if you took him to Gunther Toody's to view the vintage Chevy's and stroll down memory lane.
I can still remember when many of these cars rolled down the streets on a daily basis sucking fifty cent a gallon gasoline to the tune of nine or ten miles to the gallon. It costs a bit more to take them out these days, but taking that time machine into the past may just be worth the pain in the wallet. For me, I may have used my feet to get the event, but my smile was not any smaller.
I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoyed the memories.
