Contributed by: Kathryn Richert/YourHub.com on 10/13/2008

A princess, power ranger and black cat turned out for Festival of Scarecrows Oct. 11 in Olde Town Arvada, West 57th Avenue and Olde Wadsworth Boulevard. The pre-Halloween bash, hosted by Arvada Festivals Commission and Historic Olde Towne Arvada, featured a scarecrow contest, hay rides, a kids costume parade, a giant pumpkin contest, a cone maze and more. Pumpkin sale proceeds were donated to the Arvada Community Food Bank.
