New restaurant helps feed Arvada's hungry families

Year after year the Arvada Community Food Bank gathers resources and shares them with hungry Arvada families. Expenses are kept to a minimum by the participation of many volunteers. Inevitably though, resources are outstripped by need.

This season is no exception. A new restaurant called Art Gatherings Cafe at 9110 Ralston Road is sponsoring an April Fund Raiser that offers breakfast for a flat FIVE DOLLARS with the whole five dollars going to the food bank. Arvada citizens who want to participate in this non-profit event are invited to sign their name on the back of their business card or similar size slip of paper and to present themselves during the month of April between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Tuesday-Friday. (This HUB offer is not valid with any other offers and is not valid on Saturday or Sunday.)
