Our daughter is a 1991 graduate of Arvada High School. She is now known as Misstress Tarable. She has wanted to be a roller derby girl since she was 4 and now that life long dream has come true. She is now skating with the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls, playing on two teams. The local team is Red Ridin' Hoods and the travel team of 5280 Fight Club. If you thought sports were tough in high school you should come and watch these women bout. They are tough, rough, and full of fight. They are not paid to play as a matter of fact they pay to bumped, knocked down, pushed out and even injured at times. Roller Derby is not a sport for the weak and squimmish. These women are all professionals on their own time. Misstress Tarable is a juvenile corrections officer.
Come and see a bout at the Bladium Sports Club. 2400 Central Park Blvd, in the Stapleton area. Their next bout is on Saturday May 12th against the Salt City Derby Girls from Salt Lake City. For additional bout information go to their web site: rockymountainrollergirls.com.
Have you figured out who Misstress Tarable really is?
