Arvada pair skates to victory at pre-regional meet

Dawn Herman and Robert Jones captured 1st Place in Romeoville, IL over the weekend at the Great Lakes Pre-Regional Championships.

The team representing US on Wheels in Arvada, competed against 8 other teams from the Midwest in the Novice B Team Dance Division. Ms. Herman and Mr. Jones skated the Denver Shuffle, Casino Tango, Academy Blues, and the Swing Waltz .

With final scores ranging from 73-79, their nearest competitor was at least 4 points behind. Herman and Jones will compete in the Regional Championships in June in Minneapolis. The top four finishers at that meet will advance to the National Championships this August in Lincoln, Nebraska.
