History predicts the future - again.
Contributed by: Ken Lytle on 1/20/2006

Lets all keep in mind the Broncos are 6-1 all time in AFC title games, and have not lost any that were played here in Denver. That is a fact that will not change come this Sunday.

Over the course of Broncos history (est. 1960) There have been several division titles and play-off appearances by the beloved Broncos. This includes the previously mentioned AFC title games, 6 trips to the super bowl (in which the Broncos are 2-4) and the team has as much rich history and glory telling games in the past, as any other NFL team. Still, every other team in the NFL has at least 2 members in the NFL hall of fame. The Broncos only have one there, you all know him, John Elway (Stanford)- needless to point out why he is there. If you are reading this, you know why he is there.

So John is the only Bronco in the hall. Big deal - The Broncos had players worthy of the hall of fame before the Elway era, as well as some players since then. Louis Wright (San Jose State) played corner for the Broncos and was a 5 time pro-bowl selection. The pro football writers association tell us that over his career, his interception total is too low. Anyone besides me ever stop and wonder why? No one would throw to his side of the field, he was that good.

They can keep ignoring the Broncos all they want - we will just add another great game and world title to the pile. You can bet that some day, Shannon Sharpe (Savhannah State) and Champ Bailey (Alabama) will be there with John.
