When did I become a Bronco Fan? Well as far back as I can remember. My parents who were also born in Denver brought me into this world of football and it has been a part of me every since. I remember every Sunday was Bronco Sunday and after every game, was a big Bronco dinner. Soon I had my chance to go to Mile High Stadium for a couple of games. I remember Mile High Stadium before they built the new East stands and the seats were stationary. Going to the games was such a big thrill! I soon had the opportunity to go to some playoff games and will always remember beating the Raiders for our trip to the Superbowl under coach Red Miller. Soon I was old enough to buy my own tickets and spent the next 18 years going to all the home games at Mile High Stadium. Soon we made the Bronco games a "Sunday" event by tailgating at all the home games. Always a Bronco fan even in the trying years. But what wonderful memories and feeling when the Broncos won the division and the AFC championship and made their way to Super Bowl XXXII. I went crazy as did everyone in Colorado!!! No one could get enough "Bronco stuff"! I even listend to Bronco "talk radio". Things were crazy and the feeling of going to the Super Bowl was overwhelming. The day of Superbowl I just couldnt contain myself and during my cheering in front of the TV decided to do a hand spring. Needless to say, at 35 Iam not as flexable as I use to be and threw out my back. But after 8 years of not being in a playoff game and being a bit older now, I will still do a handspring if we make it to the superbowl!
After loosing my Broncos tickets through the big D, I would love the chance to win some Bronco tickets for the AFC playoff game. I miss going to the games and know they need my support!!!!!
