2-Time Olympic Gold Medalists Tamika Catchings is coming to the Parker Field House to team up with Nothing But Net Basketball Academy! This all day Girls Basketball Camp will be an opportunity of a life time! Your daughter will be exposed to one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Tamika is not only a role model on the court but off the court as well. She was called upon by President Bush to attend his 2004 State of the Union speech as a representative of all 2004 Olympians and Olympic hopefuls. The 5-time WNBA All-Star will help your daughter improve her fundamentals, self-esteem and basketball IQ. Participants will also get to take photos, receive autographs from Tamika as well as win prizes.

Dates: Sat, Oct 18 and/or Sun, Oct 19

Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rate: $70 R/$80 NR for one day,

$140 R/$160 NR for both days

Girls by age group 6-8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-17

  • Aided the Fever in 2006 to a 21-1 slate and the Eastern Conference playoffs.
  • The leading vote-getter for the 2006 WNBA All-Star Game.
  • Received 43 of a possible 66 votes in the 2006 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year voting and 25 of a possible 28 votes for the All-Defensive first team. Earned WNBA Player of the Week honors in her first week in the league.
  • Received 48 out of a possible 60 WNBA Rookie of the Year votes in 2002 and finished as the second vote getter for WNBA Defensive Player of the Year after aiding the Fever to its best record and first playoff berth in franchise history.
  • Finished as runner-up for the 2003 WNBA MVP award.
  • Honed her game internationally in South Korea and Russia during the WNBA off-season. Has won three Korean titles with Woori Bank Hansae (2002, 2003, 2006).
