Flour Mill has flowers
Contributed by: Bill Orchard on 5/22/2006

The annual flower planting at the Arvada Flour Mill was held on Saturday. This is a collaborative effort of the Arvada Gardeners and the Arvada Historical Society. The Historical Society supplies the ground and funding, and the Arvada Gardeners supply the labor and expertise. The club chairperson is Walt Junke and this year his team planted varieties of Petunias, Marigolds, Salvia, Snap Dragons. Lobelia and Dusty Miller to name a few. Club memberswho helped are Elmer Nygaar, Joan Wallace, Marge Rudie, Peggy Orchard and Bill Orchard.
The next time you're in Olde Town, stop down to the east end of the Flour Mill and enjoy the brilliant colors in the garden.
